Playing in the Kitchen

Since Bugaboo likes to be everywhere mom it, I have started leaving a step stool up so he can help me in the kitchen. He now loves this new found freedom and pushes the step stool where mom is and proceeds to help her. While I was making dinner the other night, I turned and found him in my baking drawer, putting items from one drawer into the other and vice versa.

As long as he was quiet and letting me cook dinner I can't complain, right? I love having you in my kitchen with me Buga Boo!

No not the dishwasher!

So the other day I noticed that their was a hard water ring forming in the bottom of my dishwasher. Since I have been inspired to start reorganizing and really deep clean my house I decided to get to work. So when I noticed the dishwasher, I decided to roll up my sleeves and get to work. Well, as I got down there, I realized that we still had standing water, and a lot of it! So we ended up having to take apart the dishwasher, clean it out, and attempt to fix it. Of course we had to call in our expert plumber...

Daddy's favorite little helper. Always wanting to get right in the middle of everything. :) Of course this allowed mommy to get somethings done while he was preoccupied, but I eventually had to distract him so daddy could get some work done. We still don't know what is wrong with it, but I still use it!

Fun Times

In January, Grandma McCormick came down to spend a week with the Buga Boos. He loves for his Grandma to come and visit. He was very eager to show her all of his Christmas toys.
Her very first morning here, he promptly wanted her to help build his race track. They worked very diligently all morning to put it together.

During her stay, we thought it would be fun to make a valence for Buga Boos room, and since he loves "Cars" there was really no argument as to what material we would get. He was so excited in the store when we bought the material and hugged it all the way home.

During the whole project he was quick to point out "trucks" and make sure we knew that those were his trucks. He was so excited!

I haven't found a curtain rod yet so we don't have it hanging up in his room, but he looks at it every day and gets so excited. We might just have to decorate the room next to match the valence. I'm thinking a "Cars" theme.....
