Winter Storm Warning

So a few days ago we got a winter storm warning for the Prescott Area and we were so excited. We might actually get some snow! Well the next morning we did, and this is what we woke up too..

Needless to say, it was all melted within 5 minutes and the sky was beautiful and clear without a cloud in sight. Nothing like we remember in Utah or New Mexico. However, I can say that we do not own a snow shovel!

Our Tree!!

At Last We've Finished Our Christmas Tree! How Fun! What a great day to finish on, it feels more like Christmas because we're actually getting some snow tonight!!

We Finished!

Well, we have finially finished our front yard! Which is nice because now the cold weather is coming in. I told Roger that I am ready to hibernate this winter and not even think about the back yard until spring. :) But he already has plans on what we need to do in the backyard so we will see how much I actually get to rest. But it is rewarding to put so much hard work into something and see how beautiful it turned out. The very top picture is our front yard. The next one is to the right of our drive way, and the last picture is to the left of the house there in the back behind the island.

Something cool that I am going to try and do is a slide show of our yard from start to finish so be looking for that as well. And I have recieved a request to put more on our blog from the rest of our lives as well. Well, our yard was our life! But yes, I will be posting more on what we are doing especially with my Young Women. So be looking for that as well!
